Ifra Ajmali (Batch Of 2016)

"Being called as a Modernite is a feeling itself, it’s a single world which speaks its value."

WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW :I am currently Studying in National Institute Of Fashion Technology Jodhpur and pursuing Textile Design which is a four year course and I am in 6th semester (3rd)

MEANING OF BEING A MODERNITE :When I came to Nift, the first question people asked me was which school am I from and saying I am from Modern Barakhamba had an immediate reaction to it. Being called as a Modernite is a feeling itself, it’s a single word which speaks its value.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN SCHOOL : I remember my interview very clearly today also. Lata Ma’am was the principal in 2009. I remember myself laughing and answering like all normally because I didn’t what this interview will get me.Today I see myself as a confident, Independent girl living alone in all new city between different people and doing exactly what I wanted to do. Today when I look back and see my journey in Modern School it feels like I have come so far from the day when I was selected. The Ifra in 2009 was a little girl who was new to a totally different world and was scared about how she will face the new world of Modern School but with the help of my teachers and my parents I made it.

HOW THE TRUST HELPED ME REALISE MY DREAMS:MSOSA trust has helped in my higher education by covering my academics fees in the first two years of NIFT, which has been a great support. And today undoubtedly I give all the credits of who I am to Modern School and the MSOSA trust.I hope to be a part of MSOSA in future.
